Privacy policy
The short answer
This site does not collect anything about you.
There is no analytics, no advertising, no tracking, no cookies set by this site, no forms that send anything anywhere, and no account to create. Every tool runs entirely in your browser.
The numbers, up front
- Analytics
- None. There is no analytics script on any page of this site 1
- Tools
- Every tool runs in your browser. Nothing you type is transmitted, and there is no server that could receive it 1
- Saving
- A few tools offer to save your work in your own browser on your own device. That never leaves the device and you can delete it with one click 1
- Enforced by the browser
- The site ships a content security policy that blocks outbound connections and form submissions, so the promise is enforced rather than only stated 1
What the tools do with what you type
Nothing leaves your device.
The records request builder builds the letters on your computer. The letters are never sent anywhere.
The delivery timeline builder, the milestone tracker, the therapy tracker and the IEP prep tool work the same way.
The state lookups use a small data file that is already on your device once the page loads. Choosing a state does not send a request anywhere.
Nothing you type is transmitted, logged or stored on any server, because there is no server that receives anything. The site is static files.
Saving, and how to delete it
Four tools offer to save your work: the delivery timeline, the therapy tracker, the IEP prep tool and, where you choose it, anything else marked as saving.
If you press Save, the tool writes a copy into your own browser's storage, on that device only.
It never leaves the device. Not to us, not to anyone.
Nobody else can read it, unless they use that browser on that device.
You can delete it with the Delete button on the tool, or by clearing your browser data.
It can disappear on its own, if you use private browsing, clear your browser, or switch device. If something matters, print it.
Nothing saves unless you press the button.
How to check all of this yourself
You do not have to take our word for it.
Turn off your internet connection. Every tool on this site still works, because everything runs on your device.
Open your browser's network tab and use a tool. Nothing is sent while you type.
Look at the page source. There is no analytics script, because there is no analytics.
The site ships a content security policy that blocks outbound connections and form submissions at the browser level. Even if a mistake were made in the code, the browser would block the request.
The build refuses to publish a tool that could send anything. Every release is checked automatically for every way a browser can transmit data, and the build fails if one is found.
What the hosting provider sees
This site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages, and like any web host it processes the technical information needed to serve a page: your IP address and your browser type, in ordinary server logs.
That is standard for any website you visit and it is not something this site collects, uses, or has access to for any purpose of its own.
We do not set cookies. We do not run advertising or tracking scripts. There is nothing on this site that follows you anywhere.
Links to other sites
Pages here link to government agencies, professional bodies and national organizations, because that is where the underlying material is published.
Once you follow one of those links you are on someone else's site, under their privacy policy. This site has no control over what they do and does not receive anything back from them.
Outbound links carry no tracking parameters.
Children
This site is written for parents. It does not knowingly collect anything from anyone, of any age, because it does not collect anything at all.
Changes to this policy
If this policy ever changes, the change will be described here and the last-reviewed date at the bottom of this page will be updated.
If this site ever began collecting anything, that would be stated at the top of this page in plain words, not buried in a paragraph. There is no current intention to collect anything.
Questions parents ask
Do you use cookies?
This site does not set cookies. A few tools use your browser's local storage, and only when you press Save. That is different from a cookie: it stays on your device, it is not sent with any request, and you can delete it from the tool.
Can anyone see what I typed into a tool?
No. There is no server that receives it. If you saved it, it is in your browser on that device, so someone using that device could open the tool and load it. Use the Delete button on a shared computer.
Is there any advertising?
No. No advertising, no affiliate links, no sponsorship and no referral arrangements with anyone. See about this site.
Why does this matter so much on this site?
Because of what people type into these tools. A delivery timeline, a records request, a note about a child's development. That belongs to you, and the safest way to keep it that way is for it never to be transmitted at all.
